Heat Resistant Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Sleeving, High-Temperature Fire Sleeves
Description for High-Temperature Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Sleeving
Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Sleeves are silicone coated for flexibility.
Fire Sleeves are designed to protect hoses, wires, and cables from high temperatures and occasional direct flames. Working temperature: -65°C~500°C (can work at 165°C for 15~30 seconds).
Made from high-quality fiberglass yarns woven in a flexible substrate, then coated with high-grade, fully cured silicone rubber. Resistant to hydraulic oils, lubricating oils, and fuels, the fire protection sleeve prevents energy loss in pipes and hoses, protects employees from burns, and provides flame and melt splash protection for wires, hoses, and cables.
Fire Sleeves feature braided inner fiberglass sleeves that provide the highest level of protection in critical areas that may be exposed to severe fire conditions, such as oil lines in engine compartments. In addition to meeting the requirements for aerospace applications, braided fire protection sleeves are commonly used in the automotive, marine, locomotive, heavy equipment, and petrochemical industries.
