Description for High-Temperature Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Sleeving
It is a high-quality, high-temperature, flame retardant sleeve for protecting hoses, cables, and process lines. GSUP sleeves consist of a specially formulated silicone rubber extrusion coating over a highly expandable woven fiberglass. The braided construction allows high radial expansion up to 100% and has a smooth, strong inner wall for easy installation. Glass fiber pretreatment results in strong adhesion between the glass sleeve and the silicone coating. The high-pressure coating process ensures a smooth, uniform surface without wall thickness variations and the pimples and protrusions of broken fibers that are typical of sleeves produced by some alternative coating systems. GSUP sleeves are also very flexible but do not wear out when cut. The silicone rubber coating is non-flammable (self-extinguishing) and suitable for continuous use at 480F (250C). The coating is fully post-cured to eliminate the possibility of residual volatile compounds.

Application:
